Mr Tim Cahill is the Chief Sports Officer of Aspire Academy in Qatar, where he oversees the scouting and development of Qatari youth athletes across all sports, as well as implementing partnerships and relationships with international organisations.
Additional current roles include: Member of the Board of Directors for Belgian First Division club KAS Eupen, Technical Observer for UEFA Champions League, Ambassador for the Supreme Committee and the FIFA World Cup 2022, and Member of the FIFA Legends programme.
Mr Cahill became involved in sports administration after a 21-year professional football career. During that time, he played for clubs in the United Kingdom, USA, China, Australia, and India. He retired as Australia’s greatest ever goal scorer and played in four FIFA World Cups.
Mr Cahill has completed his UEFA Pro License as well as his C, B, and A licenses. He studied the Business of Entertainment, Media, and Sports at Harvard University, and the Diploma Programme in Sports Management at Josoor Institute.
