In November 2014, the International Olympic Committee (IOC) has identified Aspetar as its Research Centre for the Prevention of Injury and Protection of Athlete Health, both of which are top priorities for the IOC and Aspetar. Since its foundation, Aspetar has developed a valued partnership with the IOC in clinical, research and educational matters which has enable us to partner in numerous educational events with the IOC, including several IOC ATPCs, the IOC World Conference on Prevention of Injury and Illness in Sport, as well as hosting the IOC Cardiology Course.
