Sidra Medical and Research Centre (Sidra) and Aspetar have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) that will encompass collaboration in the provision of healthcare services for treating pediatric sports related injuries.

This initiative has been launched at Aspetar, utilising the highly skilled healthcare workforce of Sidra, who will expand the range of services currently provided at Aspetar to include pediatric services. Services include pediatric orthopedic surgery limited to sports related injuries, screening of younger athletes and other related allied health services within Aspetar’s scope of services. A team of Sidra healthcare professionals including physicians, allied health professionals and nurses will be credentialed and privileged to provide patient care at Aspetar.
