Mr Khalid Ali Al Mawlawi is a synergist and dynamic leader, with extensive experience in linking talent to business needs. Over the last 16 years, Mr Khalid has been involved in strategic business solutions, talent management, business improvement, service management, and managing large-scale organisational change initiatives.

Before joining Aspetar in April 2016 as CAO, Mr Khalid was charged with the responsibility of making Qatar Foundation a magnet for top global talent. As such he effectively redesigned and unified their compensation and benefits, participated in the creation of their People Strategy, and developed long term employee retention strategies, among many other achievements. He is a major force in the growth and transformation of Qatar Foundation Human Resources from an operational function to a strategic business partner.

Mr Khalid has also held leadership positions at local, regional, and international sports events and associations, including working on the 15th Asian Games, the Arab Games, and the World Indoor Athletic Championships. He has also represented the State of Qatar in various international events, the most recent sports related designation of which was as President of the Qatar Volley Ball Association.

Mr Khalid holds an Executive MBA from Plymouth University and is an alumnus of SAID Business School, Oxford University.
