Dr. Nurdan Cay is a Consultant Radiologist at Aspetar with extensive expertise in musculoskeletal imaging, ultrasonography, Doppler ultrasonography, and elastosonography. She has broad experience in multidisciplinary clinical practice within tertiary referral hospitals and university-based healthcare systems.
Dr. Cay completed her medical degree at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, followed by radiology residency training at Ankara Atatürk Training and Research Hospital. She subsequently earned a PhD in Clinical Anatomy from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine and later completed a Bachelor’s degree in Exercise and Sport Sciences at Istanbul University. She holds Board Certification from the Turkish Society of Radiology and the European Diploma in Radiology (EDiR).
Dr. Cay has authored and co-authored numerous peer-reviewed scientific publications and book chapters in the field of musculoskeletal radiology. She has actively contributed to medical education at Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University since 2013 and was awarded the title of Professor in 2022. She regularly delivers lectures and educational sessions for medical students, radiology residents, and professional audiences at national and international scientific meetings.
Dr. Cay is a member of several international and national professional societies, including the European Society of Radiology, European Society of Musculoskeletal Radiology, International Skeletal Society, Turkish Society of Radiology, and Turkish Society of Magnetic Resonance. In 2024, she was selected for the prestigious Don Resnick Visiting Professor Program of the International Skeletal Society.
