Sofie Nelis qualified as a physician at the University of Maastricht in the Netherlands. Before joining Aspetar she gained experience in occupational health and rehabilitation medicine.
She is working in the musculoskeletal clinic and in the medical education department as lead medical education specialist and acting head of CME/CPD. She is doing a PhD at the Vrije Universiteit of Amsterdam, focused on shared decision making in athlete healthcare.
