Thursday, September 8th ,2011, Doha, Qatar: The Chairman of Emirates Sport and Cultural Club of Al–Ain Sheikh Abdulla Bin Mohammed Bin Khaled Al- Nahyan visited ASPIRE Academy For Sports Excellence and Aspetar- Qatar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital on Thursday afternoon.
Upon his arrival to the Academy’s VIP hall, Sheikh Abdulla and accompanying delegation were received by Ali Salem Afifa, Director of corporate services and Ali Jassim Al- Muftah QFA Technical Committee Secretary General, who took the Academy’s guest in a tour around its different facilities and gave detailed explanations about how it works.
Sheikh Abdulla bin Mohammed bin Khaled Al-Nahyan and Mohammed Obaid Hamdoun Al- Thahiri, member of the board of directors and general supervisor of football section at AL- Ain FC, met with the youth team of Al-Ain FC who are on weeklong training camp in the prestigious Doha based Academy, wished them a nice stay in their second home country Qatar and asked them to reach the maximum profit of their camp.
At the end of his visit to the academy, Sheikh Abdulla signed in the VIP guest book and exchanged gifts in appreciation of the visit with ASPIRE officials.
Al-Ain Chairman and accompanying delegation headed to Aspetar- Qatar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital where he was welcomed and led in a tour by Dr. Hakim Chalabi Assistant Chief Medical Officer and Executive Director of the National Sports Medicine Programme. Dr. Chalabi explained to the Emirati Special guest how the unique FIFA accredited sports medicine hospital in the region works, and exchanged gifts at the end of his visit.
