07/06/2011 12:00 AM (Doha: June 07th, 2011) Dr. Mohammed Al Maad’heed, Director-General of Aspetar, Qatar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital received the Real Madrid coach, Jose Mourinho during his visit in Qatar, which led him to the hospital on Tuesday.The famous coach toured various departments throughout the hospital during his brief visit, where he expressed his admiration for the services provided by the department of Rehabilitation and Physiotherapy. The Real Madrid manager praised Qatar for the development of Sports, which is reflected at Aspire Academy and Aspetar. The facilities were also acknowledged as a plus to the promotional campaign as part of Qatar's preparations to host the World Cup in 2022. For his part, Dr. Al Maad’heed said that the visit of Mourinho confirms the recognition of Aspetar in attracting the biggest personalities of sports and especially football in the world. The vision of Aspetar is to be a leader in Sports Medicine by 2015. Being the first hospital specialized in sports medicine in the region, Aspetar became the only accredited FIFA Medical Centre of excellence in 2008.
