Aspetar's World-Class Rehabilitation Conference Returns: Tackling Thigh Muscle Injuries in Elite Sports
Aspetar Orthopaedic & Sports Medicine Hospital is set to host its highly anticipated second International Rehabilitation Conference on 16th-17th November 2024. Following the resounding success of its inaugural event, this year’s conference will shine a spotlight on the critical issue of thigh muscle injuries in elite athletes, taking place at the iconic Khalifa Stadium, a proud host venue of the 2022 FIFA World Cup.
This year’s conference promises to be a melting pot of expertise, bringing together over 600 experts from 90 countries. Physiotherapists, physicians, and sports scientists from the world’s most prestigious football clubs, sports federations, and academic institutions will converge to explore cutting-edge management and rehabilitation strategies for thigh muscle injuries.
Attendees will have the unique opportunity to network with Aspetar experts and peers from Premier League giants such as Liverpool FC, Manchester City, Chelsea FC, and Tottenham Hotspur; European powerhouses including FC Barcelona, Paris Saint-Germain, RB Leipzig, and Rangers FC; Middle Eastern clubs like Al-Hilal, Al-Ittihad FC, and Al-Nasr Sports Club; as well as representatives from leading universities such as the University of Siena, University of Auckland, and La Trobe University. An Elite Club Workshop will take place on 14th-15th November, while two post-conference workshops focusing on Advanced Thigh Muscle Injuries and Advanced ACL injuries will be held on 18th and 19th November, respectively. Please note that the Workshops are now closed as all seats have been booked early this year.
