Footballing legend Kevin Keegan was given a guided tour of Aspetar, part of Aspire Zone Foundation, by Senior Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Surgeon Dr Nebojsa Popovic on September 17th. Keegan, the former Liverpool player, England national team manager, and double winner of the European Footballer of the Year Award, was accompanied by former Scotland internationals Alex McLeish and Andy Gray along with retired England international Mark Hateley. Keegan said,

“The facilities available at Aspetar are impressive. I’ve visited many other hospitals specialized in sports medicine around the world, but I have never seen anything quite like Aspetar where the level of expertise is exceptional”.
