Dr. Reema Alhosani is a distinguished Consultant in Sports Medicine and a retired Colonel, known for her leadership and dedication to advancing the landscape of sports both in the UAE and internationally. A passionate advocate for sports development, she has been instrumental in promoting sports medicine, anti-doping initiatives, education, and research. Dr. Alhosani has led numerous tournaments and teams, earning recognition as a pioneering woman in UAE sport.

Her current roles include key positions with UNESCO, where she serves as the Global Coordinator for Traditional Pharmacopoeia and Head of the Pilot Regional Taskforce for the Arab region. She also heads the medical committee in the Arab cycling federation and contributes to the Department of Health in Abu Dhabi as a member of the sport medicine examiners panel.

Dr. Alhosani's extensive experience also includes serving as a FIFA and AFC senior medical/doping control officer and holding prior influential positions such as President of the UAE National Anti-Doping Agency and a member of the WADA Health, Medicine and research Committee.
