Jouhara Jouhar holds a Master’s degree of Science in Pain Management from the University of South Wales in United Kingdom. She completed her Bachelor’s degree in Nursing at the University of Calgary in Qatar, along with High Diploma in Nursing from the High Institute of nursing in Qatar. Additionally, she earned a Diploma in Transplant Coordination and Transplant Procurement Management (TPM) Barcelona - Spain, in Qatar.

Jouhara career began at Hamad General Hospital, where she worked as a registered nurse in inpatient orthopaedic surgery for four, years and nine years in outpatient care across various specialities, including Medical, Endocrinology, Gastroenterology and pulmonology. Notably, she acted as liver transplant coordinator for four years during her time in outpatient care at Hamad General Hospital.

Currently, Jouhara is serving as a Senior Registered nurse, she has eight years of experience in MSK, Surgery, Sport Medicine, with a specialization and focuses on pain management at Aspetar Orthopedics Sports Medicine Hospital. Jouhara plays a vital role in the outpatient clinic, where she leads the pain management nursing group, and participate in pain management research project as a co-investigator. Leading also Patient Report Experience Measures (PREM) group. In addition, she is a member in the concussion scientific planning community and the SCAT 6 translation group. Jouhara is also part of the OPD safety group and serves as an OPD fire warden.

Jouhara is currently applying the knowledge gained from her MSc degree Science in Pain Management to her role at Aspetar, with aspirations to further advance her skill in the healthcare sector.
