Laurent Lassalle is a French Physical Coach and Return-to-Play Specialist with over 18 years of experience in high-performance athletic rehabilitation and physical preparation. After starting his career in France, he moved to Qatar and joined Aspetar from its official opening day, making him one of the pioneers at this FIFA-accredited sports medicine hospital.
Laurent has been instrumental in developing and delivering individualized return-to-play strategies that support injured athletes throughout every stage of their recovery—from the initial phase post-injury to full reintegration into high-level sport. He collaborates daily with physiotherapists, doctors, and sport coaches to ensure training is evidence-based, progressive, and sport-specific.
A passionate martial artist since childhood, Laurent continues to train and compete. He won gold at the prestigious Abu Dhabi World Pro Jiu-Jitsu Championship in 2015 and enjoys sharing his practice when traveling.
He has trained elite athletes across football, basketball, handball, motorsports, and combat sports. His work is shaped by a strong interest in breathwork and environmental conditioning, and a deep passion for mobility training as a cornerstone of injury prevention, recovery, and sustainable performance.
