Oussama Skhiri is a physiotherapist from Tunisia, with over 20 years of experience in elite football, specializing in injury prevention, rehabilitation, and player performance. Since 2002, he has worked extensively with senior professional teams, including a distinguished role with the Tunisian national football team.

He proudly served during major international tournaments such as the FIFA Confederations Cup (Germany 2005), FIFA World Cup (Germany 2006), and three Africa Cup of Nations tournaments in Egypt (2006), Ghana (2008), and Angola (2010). These experiences have shaped his expertise in managing high-performance athletes under intense competition conditions.

Since joining the ASPETAR National Sports Medicine Program in 2010, Oussama has continued to apply evidence-based practices in sports physiotherapy. He is currently working with the first Football Team of Al Kharaitiyat Sports Club in Qatar, and pursuing a Master’s degree in Healthcare Management, with a research focus on the implementation of groin injury prevention strategies, particularly the Copenhagen Adduction Exercise, in professional football.

With a career dedicated to advancing player care and performance, Oussama remains committed to integrating clinical research into daily sports practice.
