Doha, Qatar (October 1, 2014) – Aspetar is playing a leading role at “The 1st European day on groin pain”. The full-day event is taking place on October 3rd 2014 at Boudreaux, France is attended by 300 participants and featuring a range of innovative discussions and presentations lead by elite groin pain experts from all over the world
Aspetar visiting surgeon and member of the organising committee Dr Gilles Reboul said:
“This keynote event will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences and present the most recent developments in medical practice, as well as assessing the contribution of these innovative techniques.”
He added: “This meeting, supported by public and private organisations, is an ideal occasion for the medical and paramedical professions involved in sports medicine and surgery to promote more effective, multidisciplinary care for groin pain” The programme will feature leading European experts presenting the latest advances in diagnosis and treatment for patients and people involved in sports on all levels
A considerable number of topics will mainly address: groin pain investigation, imaging, medical treatment and non-surgical rehabilitation, surgical treatment and Sport rehabilitation

On November 1st – 3rd Aspetar will organise and host the First World Conference on Groin Pain in Athletes at the Aspire Academy for Sports Excellence Auditorium in Doha. More than 30 world leading experts will give invited lectures at the conference.
