Doha: 21 December 2011 Amidst one of the biggest sporting competitions in the Middle East, Aspetar Qatar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital (Aspetar) is currently receiving a steady stream of athletes seeking treatment or medical tests on a daily basis.
Prior to the advent of games, Aspetar joined hands with the Arab Games Organizing Committee (AGOC) to provide medical care to tens of thousands of expected athletes, as part of the world-class hospital’s commitment to the success of the Arab Games 2011.

An accredited FIFA Medical Centre of Excellence, Aspetar is home to specialised sports medicine department including orthopaedic surgery, radiology, sports dentistry, and others.
