Aspetar’s Acting Chief Medical Officer Dr Hakim Chalabi welcomed Dr Jean-Francois Mattei, the former Vice President of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies and former French health ministry during his visit to Aspetar on Wednesday, March12th. Whilst touring the facilities, Mr Mattei described Aspetar as a great leader in sports medicine. During the meeting, the two parties reviewed aspects of collaboration in relation to sports medicine and education, and discussed a number of issues of common concern in the field of humanitarian work. They also discussed the possibility for future cooperation in medical, educational and social activities relating to charitable and humanitarian work.
