Tops Seeds to Receive Aspetar Medical Care at ExxonMobil Open ‘14

Doha, 29 December 2013: Some of the biggest names in tennis competing at the ExxonMobil Open 2014 will be provided with medical care from Aspetar Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Hospital, as part of their ongoing partnership with the Qatar Tennis Federation. Top seeds expected at this year’s open, which kicks off today at the Khalifa International Tennis and Squash Complex, include Rafael Nadal, David Ferrer and Andy Murray. The tournament continues until January 4th.
For the coming three years, Aspetar will provide an on-site team who will attend to the world’s top tennis players participating in this prestigious event. The competitors will also gain access to the hospital’s specialized state-of-the-art sports medicine facilities and benefit from their expertise in injury and illness prevention and care, nutrition, psychology and training.
