Deployed clinicians, namely sports doctors, physiotherapists, massage therapists and nurses, are all expertly evaluated for their insight into and knowledge and experience of sport before being placed in any club or federation under NSMP’s care. Our existing team’s strength and wide range of clinical diversity is growing steadily as more and more clubs and federations seek our high level of service and wide range of insight into clinical service delivery to athletes throughout Qatar.
Carefully selected practitioners with in depth knowledge of numerous medical services will work closely and directly with specific sporting groups, and will also provide services within other areas that fall under the broad range of sporting categories, including individual athletes or event coverage, based on their skill and expertise.
NSMP’s clinical based approach will standardise care across all clubs and federations. By creating a focal point within each facility it will increase the availability of practitioners for multiple sports, teams and individuals, and will foster a multi-disciplinary approach to athlete management. A successful application of this multi-disciplinary approach allowed a safe return to sport during the COVID19 Pandemic and the NSMP medical staff played a major role in educating and applying safety measures during training and competition in all sports events.
